2. This is an important point - We always go to the altitude you book and pay for.
Sunshine Coast Skydivers aren’t so happy we have to point this one out to customers, but some drop zones take your booking and then up you go and depending on air traffic in that area, you may or may not be able to jump from the height you booked. We understand from customers who have come to jump with Sunshine Coast Skydivers instead, that you’re offered the lower jump (with NO REFUND on the difference between the height you paid for and the height you get), sometimes when you’re up in the plane! Sunshine Coast Skydivers absolutely GUARANTEES that you will skydive from the height you booked. Ask your tandem instructor to show you their altimeter at any stage of your flight to see how high you are (if you dare!). We also film your tandem instructor’s altimeter and include it in your skydive DVD footage so you have irrefutable proof of your bravery!
3. There are no extra levies or taxes to pay –
the prices that you see on our website are all-inclusive, nothing more to pay!

Surfers, whales, stingrays and turtles are a common sight in the water while the beaches are favourite hot spots for both locals and visitors alike. With aerial views on your scenic flight to jump altitude stretching from Double Island Point near Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island, over the Pumicestone Passage and glorious Glasshouse Mountains to Bribie Island and Moreton Bay, Caloundra is truly a magnificent place to skydive! And, if you’re local, don’t forget to grab a bird’s-eye-view of your place!

as well as fantastic cafes, restaurants and places to stay. Sunshine Coast Skydivers are just 60 mins north of Brisbane via the Bruce Highway or 50 mins from Noosa. We’re also close to most of the Sunshine Coast’s main attractions – Australia Zoo is just 20 mins away, Underwater World is just 15 mins and the world famous Eumundi Markets are just 40 mins from Caloundra. This means that we can choose the beach with the best wind conditions and direction to land on the day of your jump, adding to the safety and timeliness of your skydive.
7. Our photographs are not photo grabs from your video –
we use a separate camera to take great hi-definition photos… perfect for making large prints to show off to your family and friends.
8. All of our skydiving videos and photos are backed up on a hard drive…
so if you lose or damage your disks within a year then we can replace them for you... or you could just do another skydive!
9. Air Traffic Control delays? What Air Traffic Control Delays?!
Sunshine Coast Skydivers are not near any major airports such as Brisbane or even the Sunshine Coast Airport itself. We operate out of Caloundra Aerodrome/Airport, a general aviation airport, not a commercial one. This means we don’t have to worry about multiple larger aircraft coming through our airspace making us wait around for hours on the ground - or not getting full altitude clearance. This factor makes a really big difference to the smooth running of your skydive experience with minimal delay times.
10. Our aircraft takes up to four tandems at a time.
So if your family or friends are brave enough to skydive too, they can come along and share the thrill with you! It’s a bonding experience that will never be forgotten!
11. We have a fantastic safety record.
Sunshine Coast Skydivers have never had a serious injury in the NINETEEN years we have been operating - since 1994. Safety is of the utmost importance to all of us.
12. All of our tandem masters have years of experience with many thousands of jumps behind each of them.
