Sunshine Coast Skydivers, Caloundra, Sunshine Coast was established in 1994 by Tibor Glesk, a man driven to share the wonder of skydiving with as many earth-locked people as possible; a man yearning (!) to set as many adventure-seekers soaring free, as is humanly possible for one man to do.

Tibor's dream of sharing the experience of freefall and skydiving with everyone resulted in the Adventure Tourism Award-Winning Sunshine Coast Skydivers, based in Caloundra on Queensland's stunning Sunshine Coast.

Sunshine Coast Skydivers in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast are the tandem skydiving organisation to skydive with!  The benefits of jumping with us are many and long lasting.  Apart from the obvious benefits of skydiving in such a glorious coastal location (yes, your views do span from Fraser Island to Noosa to Pumistone Passage, the Glasshouse Mountains and all the way down to Moreton Bay) where the air over the ocean is clean and crystal clear, you also land on a soft and sandy beach!  A beach landing makes a huge difference, believe me.

We're pretty proud too, of our rather nice Jump Centre at Caloundra Airport (Aerodrome) which is a roomy little number with separate Manifest/Reception and seated waiting area; briefing area; large screen skydive DVD viewing room; media dubbing room; cafe; Skydive Souvenir Shop; 3 toilets; 1 shower and loads of parking.  All of which means that your skydiving experience is easy, convenient and comfortable from start to finish.

Add to all this, personalised training and instruction; our own designed 'Wing' the HOP330 (rated as probably the best tandem main canopy in the world - and used as the canopy of choice by many of the busiest skydive centres world-wide) equipped with backup automatic parachute deployment computer, and you can calm your mother's nerves.

Sunshine Coast Skydivers, Caloundra is also run by experienced, expert skydiver and tandem skydiving instructor Tibor Glesk (see above) who just happens to be the current Australian National Skydiving Champion for Style and Accuracy.  All of our Sunshine Coast Skydivers skydiving instructors  (or Tandem Masters as we like to call 'em) are not only skydiving experts but excellent, patient teachers committed to giving YOU the very best and most exciting tandem skydiving experience.

Jumping 7, sunny days a week, all year round

Caloundra-based Sunshine Coast Skydivers operate right throughout the year - with the exception of Christmas Day and New Years Day (hangovers and skydiving don't mix!). 

Choosing this coastal drop zone location where the sun shines over 300 days a year means you're more likely to jump on the day you want, at the time you want.  Plus of course the scenery is breath-taking and the beach landing is soft & sandy!

Sunshine Coast Skydivers use the latest equipment and training methods - no experience or training is needed to make your first tandem skydive harnessed to one of our friendly, experienced Tandem Masters, (although we do give you a pre-skydive brief so you know what to look forward to!)

Freefall 10 seconds from 6,000 feet, 35 seconds from 12,000 feet, A MINUTE from 14,000 feet or 70 SECONDS from 15,000ft! before floating serenely through the sky under a parachute built for two to a soft, beach landing. Seems amazing, but really, no experience is necessary to do your first tandem skydive - our skydiving instructors do all the work, so you have all the fun!

Young Guns, Go For it! 

Fourteen (yes, 12!) is the minimum legal age to skydive - we think a tandem skydive for your 12th Birthday present has to be THE coolest birthday present around - especially when it's shared with mum or dad!  However, some of the young uns just can't wait!  If you're under 12 and just desperate to skydive, get your mum or dad to contact us and we can apply for special license for you to skydive before you're 12 ... check out our facebook page www.facebook.com/sunshinecoastskydivers to see the happy faces!

Fun for all the family

Jumping at our Caloundra Beach Drop Zones all skydivers experience the thrill of a BEACH LANDING! Make it a day out and share the rush with family and friends on Caloundra's beaches. They can watch your skydive from just a dot in the sky, to a grinning face landing on the beach in front of them.  Drag them up to watch you - there are plenty of BBQ areas available. Other nearby attractions include Underwater World in Mooloolaba, Australia Zoo at Beerwah, as well as some retail therapy in Noosa and Eumundi Markets.

Do it in the Dark

Jumps start early am daily and continue throughout the day, weather permitting - and even after dark if you decide to be a SHOOTING STAR with our NIGHT TANDEM SKYDIVE!

Allow two hours for the duration of your jump. Bookings are essential, so contact us now to arrange your jump date and time.

• Tandem Skydive over beautiful Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast with your Tandem Master
• Briefing and all equipment
• Approx 20 minute Scenic Flight to jump altitude with fantastic views over the stunning Sunshine Coast and Glasshouse Mountains - and sometimes all the way to Double Island Point near Rainbow Beach/Fraser Island down to Moreton Bay and Brisbane.
• 10 - 65 seconds - of adrenalin-pumping, heart-racing, full-on magnificent FREEFALL!
• Approx 8 minutes floating parachute ride to beach landing - experience complete serenity after the rush of freefall!  You can even take over the steering if you're up for it. Just make sure you hand it back to your instructor before the
• BEACH LANDING on one of Caloundra's soft, golden sandy beaches
• Terminal Velocity Survivor's Certificate! (Skydive Achievement Certificate doesn't really cut it) 
• Courtesy Bus pick up from beach landing in Caloundra back to Sunshine Coast Skydivers Skydive Centre at Caloundra Airport, and FREE pick-up/return to USC, Landsborough Train Station and Caloundra Bus Station (some conditions apply)
• Compulsory APF (Australian Parachute Federation) Insurance and Membership (valid minimum 2 months)
